What holds you back? That’s a question I think we should all ask ourselves every now and then.
Maybe you’re an avid bike rider that has never done a full century. The fear of the unknown pain could be holding you back. What have you done to test yourself?
Maybe you have a fear of public speaking that prevents you from making new friends or hampers your performance at work. How much practice are you getting?
Both of those examples are things that I’ve had to overcome at some point in my life. The first step in overcoming an obstacle is to know that one exists. Once you know what is holding you back you can make a plan and figure out how to move forward.
And yes, if you sit idol and do not take action… you become the primary factor that is holding you back.
