As Twitter becomes more and more popular and the number of people I follow increases, my stream continues to get a bit more cluttered, which is bad. I know I’m missing out on certain conversations, and you probably are too.
Yes, you can currently subscribe to a persons RSS feed, but for me, that’s just more clutter to my already crowded RSS stream. You can also add someone to a list, but that’s just one more thing to remember to check.
What if there was a way to subscribe via email to receive a daily digest of someone’s Twitter stream? Would you be interested? Doing so would add another email for you to look at, but it’s automatic and doesn’t require you to go to X site and look at X feed or X list.
Twitter could even use this as a possible revenue stream by placing ads at the bottom of the emails.
Anyway, it’s just a thought.
