One thing I learned during my recent political campaign is that I love to strategize for campaigns.
Yesterday, while talking to a potential candidate about his/her campaign we briefly discussed the idea and importance of using video. This individual, at first, wasn’t to keen on the idea of video because there was some unknowns about impact and cost. After I cleared up a few misconceptions he/she was on board and saw how it could benefit a campaign.
During the discussion I asked this person to watch the video above – needless to say after doing so they understood the impact video could have.
It’s a little something I made while visiting with an apartment complex in Greensboro, NC where a 16-year old child was shot on August 4, 2009 (Just so happens to be my birthday). I didn’t plan on making a video, but things just came together and I always have my Flip nearby. What an experience… Give the video a watch and you’ll know what I mean.
