This post is part of a series that highlights my move and eventual new adventure, aka life, in New York City.
Well, I guess my moving to New York adventure officially starts today.
The movers schedule changed a bit and it worked out better for them to pick up my stuff today, rather than later in the week. It’s a slight inconvenience, but really not that big of a deal so I’m just going with it.
Luckily the moving company is able to hold my belongings until my move-in date later this month. Simple things like that make using a moving company completely worthwhile for me.
While I’ll be living out of a suitcase for the next couple of weeks it isn’t all bad; partly because I expected to do so starting this Friday because I’m headed to the beach with some of my closest friends.
The timing of all this actually worked out quite well. My friend’s birthday is on May 25 and we typically go to the beach during that time every year. The only difference this year is that I’ll be hopping on a plane to NYC at the end of the trip.
This is just a quick NYC update. As I’ve previously mentioned, post of this nature will probably end up on a NYC related blog in the near future. Woot woot.
