It’s that time of year where Facebook starts making changes and users starting making all kinds of wacky comments expressing dislike. Then we get over it, continue using Facebook and the cycle eventually starts over again.
The new Live Feed change might give you more information that you’d like so I thought I’d share a little tip for you to experiment with.
If you like the concept of the Live Feed, but dislike the various notes about who friended who, who change what, etc., there is a way around that.
In the top left corner where it says News Feed, Pages, Photos, Links, click the “more” link at the very bottom. Once you click “more” it allows you to move the various boxes around. Put Status Updates at the top and that will make only status updates show up in your main feed.
The downfall of course is that you won’t see updates from Pages that you’ve become a fan of or anything else of that nature unless you manually click on the News Feed tab.
