Customer Service, Social Media, and $28 Fried Chicken

This post touches on customer service, social media… and a $28 meal that consisted of fried chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes…

I decided to treat myself to a “southern’ish” New Year’s Day meal, but wasn’t exactly sure where to go. So, I went to twitter and send the following tweet,

1:26pm – “Where can I get a good southern meal in NYC? Would be a great NYD treat!”

Within minutes of sending that tweet someone responding by telling me to go to Bubby’s in Tribeca. I checked out their site and decided that I’d pay them a visit later in the evening.

Email Marketing: A Web Design Hole

Email marketing is a top priority for a lot of the popular bloggers at the moment, and it’s also on the minds of bloggers that are just starting out.

I’m currently figuring out if I want to continue running my blog on this site, or launch a new business related site, but nonetheless, I’ve had web design on my mind.

Customer Service: How it could generate $1,440

There’s a deli I visit in the city just about every morning before work.

It’s where I pick up my favorite breakfast sandwich – bacon (crispy) and egg on a toasted bagel.

This isn’t the least expensive habit in the world, but it makes life a bit easier. There are other delis in the area that likely have the same sandwich at a lower cost, but there’s a reason I don’t switch.

Time to take Action

I’m in this really weird place right now.

My 32nd year on this little planet is ticking by, and the “business” part of my mind is in full swing.

In the past I’ve always had a job, and I’ve always had multiple side projects going on at once. These projects were meant to keep me busy, but to also allow me to have some fun on the side.

A prime example is my fashion blog, Fashables. It’s been up for just about a year now and has had one, if not two, post each day. A team of contributors spanning from DC to NYC to Milan are involved, and traffic continues to build.
