Can We Stop with the Stupidity Please?!

Look, I’m a nice guy.

Seriously, I am.

But there comes a point where you have to throw your hands up in the air and say, “Can we stop with the stupidity please?!” That’s basically what happened after receiving (yet again) another pitch from someone at an agency trying to get their clients content and a backlink published on my fashion blog.

Again, I’m not trying to be mean here, but I’m going to share the email exchange just so you can see how this plays out and hopefully NEVER do this – especially what was done in the person’s final email to me.

My 60 Second Date with Your Resume

I’ve been looking at a lot of resumes lately and some things have come to mind along the way.

By no means am I an expert resume writer or the head of human resources, but what I can do is share feedback on how I (personally) react when seeing a resume.

And I very well could be crazy in how I handle resumes, but at least you’ll understand how a crazy person reviews your info.

It’s not the biggest site in the world, but it’s gained enough traction to prompt various brand relationships to be created over time.

Speaking of those relationships, something happened the other day that felt wrong; almost as if the person on the other end of the conversation (on Twitter) had no clue of the relationship that had been established between their brand and my fashion blog.

You’ve heard of GoDaddy.com right? Or, if nothing else, you’ve probably seen their commercials with half dressed women talking about web hosting and domain name registration.

I’ve been using their services for a while, and honestly, just got lazy because all of my domain names and hosting were under one roof. What a mistake.
